Siege of the Cathedral

Siege of the Cathedral is a stand alone game which comprises the gameplay rules of its counterpart, Siege of the Citadel.  Players select characters, equipment, special powers, and then enter into the Cathedral to wreck havoc on the fallen Brotherhood.  Siege of the Cathedral is unique through its underlying story.

The Story...

We, the prophets of old have foreseen the calamity that awaits us and now again speak in hope that our sound does not fall upon deaf ears.  The Brotherhood have begun their descent from righteousness once known in their prime, instead embracing the darker practices stemming from mankind's lust of power, fame and the always present Credit.  The Darkness has thus grown and humanity again stands on the brink of utter annihilation.  This time the fault lies only within the Brotherhood itself.  Once a savior of humanity from the Darkness, they now lead men toward it.  They have partaken of that which is unholy, the presence of the Dark Soul itself.  Should the Brotherhood continue, the Dark Legion forces will conquer.  Should they repent and resist, the Darkness will sink back into another plane of existence.  May the great Light be found again lest all be swallowed up into the pit.
